sour frumenty& zucchini

Ingredients:

½ kg of snails

½ kg of sour frumenty

½ cup of olive oil

2 grated onions

2 grated zucchini (optional)

4 grated tomatoes

Salt & pepper

Execution:

We put the snails in a pot along with the olive oil, the onions,

the zucchini and the tomatoes to be sautéed for 5 minutes.

Then we add 2 glasses of water and let them boil for 20-30 minutes. We remove the snails from the pot with a slotted ladle and leave them aside for some time to work with the sauce. We add 7 glasses of water inside the pot with the sauce. After is starts boiling we add the sour frumenty and some salt. We turn down the heat and stir often. When the rice is boiled, in approximately 20 minutes, we add the snails and some pepper, we stir very well and our meal is ready for serving.
